Fanfare of five
is a single movement piece that displays a continuous momentum. It is a narrative arrangement that conjures up a spiritual journey with an open fifth sonority. Then, navigating through a patchwork of motives it invokes a complex impression, much like a mosaic. Additionally, it progresses from a consonant stage to an area of high dissonance. Finally, it concludes surprisingly at the climax of the piece -- the theme of the Fanfare
