“He is a dreamer who continually visits a foreign place to him in reality, but a place quite familiar in the illusions he conjures up in his sleep. It is a green, vast farmland dotted with numerous windmills that turn in unison like machines. Finally consumed by intrigue, the man begins his adventure to discover if the land is truly realty, or if it is merely a mirage.”
I was on my way to Chicago, along I-65. I saw the beautiful April clouds and decided to write a series of music about how people deal with the “distance”, both physically and emotionally.
